Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry Renewal House provides temporary emergency shelter providing 24 hour hotline, safety planning, support groups (Empowerment Group, Restorative Justice Circles, Art Therapy), advocacy in English and Spanish for housing, healthcare, economic and children, ESL classes, counseling, pastoral counseling, leadership training, referrals to employment training, legal assistance and educational programs and community outreach education. One of the first in the state to provide services for both male and female victims.
