Friends of the Homeless – Women’s Shelter, Permanent Housing and Resource Center, Dining room offers the following shelters:

Emergency Shelter  provides meals, showers and laundry facility.

Permanent housing provides 32 studio fully furnished single room occupancy apartment units including kitchenette and bathroom and  laundry facility on-site. The facility is co-ed and Section 8 subsidized. First floor is handicap accessible. Must apply for services at the Springfield Housing Authority on Sanderson Street.

Resource Center provides health clinic, access to computers,  training and case management.

Meals are served 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 755 Worthington Street.

Breakfast: 8:00 – 9:00 AM

Lunch: 12:00-1:00 PM

Supper: 4:30-5:30 PM
