Kent Office ((KO) provides the following.
Washington State’s Basic Food Program- information, per-screening and assistance with completing applications.
Education and Employment Services- classes and individual tutoring in adult basic education, ESL, GED and job readiness
Energy Assistance- assistance with electricity, gas, propane, wood and oil and affordable housing.
Family Shelter- case management.
Addiction Recovery- residential recovery.
Transitional Housing for Families- case management.
William J. Wood Veterans House – rental subsidies, computer lab, community rooms, exercise room, case management, job assistance, child advocacy, classes in basic education, financial management, technology skills and job readiness, substance abuse and mental health counseling.
outh & Family Homelessness Prevention Initiative Program (YFHPIP)- case management, assistance with obtaining permanent housing, employment assistance and limited financial resources, support services and referrals to community resources.
ORCA LIFT Reduced Fare Program- transportation assistance.
Rental and emergency assistance- rental assistance, motel vouchers during severe weather conditions, utility bills, bus tokens and other needs.
*closes at 3:00pm on the 15th of each month.

At least one child under age 18.
Addiction recovery
Income at or below 30% AMI.
Proof of income.
Enrolled in a recovery program.
Must have income.
